Precision Blasting Course

September’s blasting class was a success! Our group went over safety and PPE, ATF compliance, California blasting regulations and explosives storage. Then we went out on the range and covered initiation systems, blew up a chicken and gradually moved up to more difficult problems.

The final project for this class was designing, drilling, loading and firii\ng a close-proximity shot in rock using Royex low explosive cartridges and delay detonators. Congratulations, class!
